Riley earned her bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of Montana in 2012 and started her neurodiagnostic journey with IntraNerve Neuroscience in 2017. She was hired as a trainee and completed her Certification for Neurodiagnostic Intraoperative Monitoring within the first year in the field. More recently, she has worked in a management role and now oversees a small but talented staff, as well as the the IONM services for multiple hospitals here in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana. This career motivated her to continue her education and pursue a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Neuroscience from the University of Florida from which she graduated in 2024, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University. Professionally, Riley is working to immerse herself deeper within the neurodiagnostic community, become more involved in the field, and contribute to a local professional group that has helped her find a passionate career path.
Outside of the OR you can find Riley enjoying much of the recreation the Rocky Mountains provide, usually trail running with her dog, or skiing in the winter, really any opportunity to enjoy the outdoors!
